WinRemote is a Windows™ based software package that provides live spectrum analyzer remote control capabilities. WinRemote can control both portable and headend versions of the AT2500 and AT2000 series spectrum analyzers.
WinRemote allows technicians to:
- Control all spectrum analyzer functions and view real time signals on a PC
- Save valuable time and truck rolls by troubleshooting problems remotely
- Remotely select RF test points (up to 256 per analyzer with the Sunrise RF switch)
- Easily copy and paste analyzer screens to other Windows™ applications
- Store measurement records with site ID, date, time, and comments
Remote Spectrum Analyzer Control Using an Ethernet or a modem connection, the WinRemote software can take control of any AT2500 or AT2000 series analyzer to provide real time spectrum analysis on a PC. Users can log onto a remote analyzer from any location and perform measurements remotely. WinRemote provides on-screen manipulation of all spectrum analyzer parameters such as Frequency, Span, Attenuator, Marker and Trace, RF test point selection, as well as others.
Remote Node Switching
If Sunrise AT1600 series 1 GHz RF switches are connected to the remote spectrum analyzer, the user can even select which input is displayed on the computer screen. They can determine the source of a problem before generating a truck roll thereby saving valuable time and money.
View, Copy, and Paste Once records have been stored on the PC, they can be viewed or copied and pasted as a graphic file into other applications for reporting or demonstration purposes.
