Associate Product Marketing Manager. (Location: San Jose, CA)
Key responsibilities:
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market.
- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers.
- Driving a solution set across functional teams through product requirements, test scenarios, business case and positioning.
- Provide content and drive product launch including a product introduction plan, pricing, press relations, data sheets, brochures, sales guides, notifications to customers and channels, product presentation, advertising, web update and promotions.
- Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
- Perform competitive analysis
Requirements:
- B.S. or B.A in a technical or business field.
- Less than 2 years of product marketing experience.
- Must be able to interpret, understand and develop technical specifications in collaboration with engineering development teams.
- Must be able to communicate on a technical level with internal and external customers.
- Must be able to develop financial business cases for new product introductions based upon market research and customer demands.
- Detail Oriented, team focused, driving personality and goal driven.
- Must be willing to develop a team culture and motivate the team to drive towards common goal.
- 25% travel required – must also be willing to travel worldwide.
