 Combining the power of a protocol analyzer and benchtop set into a handheld platform, the SunSet OCx is the most advanced test set for testing SONET and T-carrier networks and services. The OCx has full mapping capabilities and can drop a DS3, DS1, or DS0 from any rate up to 2.5 Gbps.
The SunSet OCx has the broadest service verification and protocol analysis capability in North America, surpassing protocol analyzers many times its size and cost. The SunSet OCx is the only test set a technician needs to install, monitor, and troubleshoot today's broadband services.

The SunSet OCx is the only true handheld fiber optic test set with fiber and electrical interfaces, testing the access network from 622 Mb/s down to 1.544 Mb/s and below.
The OCx supports both singlemode and multimode fiber using 1310 nm or 1550 nm (single or dual transmitters). The OCx can be configured with long-range optics, giving the user both high power and high sensitivity.
In addition to BER and protocol testing, Sunrise Telecom has added pulse mask and a number of advanced testing tools found only in bulky, expensive lab equipment. The SunSet OCx brings the power of a central office tester out to the curb or wherever the access network can be found.
With all its physical layer and service verification features, no other test set provides the value of the SunSet OCx. No broadband service technician can afford not to have a SunSet OCx.
