Kamin and Alan B. Howe to its board of directors, and that it also accepted the resignations of board members Henry P. Huff and Jennifer J. Walt. The two new directors bring to the board many years of experience serving on multiple public and private company boards.

Kamin is currently the founder and managing partner of 3K Limited Partnership (www.3klp.com). For the previous 11 years, he was a founding member and Managing Partner of ValueAct Capital. Prior to founding ValueAct Capital in 2000, Kamin founded and managed Peak Investment L.P.

Kamin is presently a Director of Abatix Corp, Aldila Inc., Ambassadors Group, Inc., Rand Worldwide, Inc., Rockford Corporation, and several privately held companies. Kamin has previously served as a Director of Seitel, Inc., KAR Holdings, LeCroy Corp., Hanover Compressor, Exterran, Sirva, Inc., Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc., OneSource Information Services, Inc., Data Transmission Network, TFC Enterprises, Eskimo Pie, ACME United Corp, Hi-Port Industries, Paragon Technologies, Inc., and numerous privately held companies. He holds a B.A. from Tufts University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Howe has almost 30 years of extensive hands-on operational expertise combined with corporate finance, business development and corporate governance experience. Howe has a broad business background and has been exposed to a wide variety of complex business situations within large corporations, financial institutions, start-ups, small-caps and turnarounds.

Currently, Howe is Managing Partner of Broadband Initiatives, LLC, a small boutique corporate advisory firm. His specialty is providing board leadership working with small-cap and microcap companies (both public and private), particularly in turnaround situations. Howe worked at Sprint, Covad and Teletrac in a variety of senior managerial roles. He also served both as a director and as chairman in multiple companies in a variety of industries including telecom and wireless equipment, software, IT services, wireless RF services, golf-shaft manufacturing, semiconductors, and storage.
